I recorded this for the RPM Challenge 2013 - to make an album from scratch in a month (February). It was largely written/improvised during the month too, although I'd been sitting on ideas for Too Many Answers, Restart The Heart and Camera Steals already to get me started. It's kind of a "turning thirty" album, with a running theme about going back and living your life over.

I almost opened it with Two Shadows. My previous record ended with "time to retreat.." and this song intentionally began with "end of retreat". Did anyone spot the link? It's a different kind of record for me but I'm very happy with it. I took a break from RPM after this, having done 3 years I fancied a trying something different. Vanity Pages came together soon after.
